Benefits of Using an Accredited Consulting Organisation

APMG-International accredits a network of Accredited Consulting Organisations (ACOs) worldwide. If you would like consultancy advice to aid your organisation by providing support, expertise in process implementation, or maturity level assessment, please contact an Accredited Consulting Organisation to discuss your options.

There are a number of important advantages and benefits that accredited consultants can bring to your organization:

  • Prior to accreditation, all Consulting Organisations and Consultants are assessed using a rigorous process, to ensure they meet APMG-International standards. They are re-assessed regularly to ensure that they continue to meet the high standards we set.
  • Due to their close relationship with APMG-International, ACOs are up-to-date with developments concerning the methodology; are up-to-date with all the latest developments in Portfolio, Programme, Project and Risk Management; and have access to pre-release information prior to new versions of the manual being released.

ACOs employ at least one APMG Registered Consultant, who are accredited in one or more of the following specialisations:

  • Programme and Project Management Consulting
  • PRINCE2® Consulting
  • Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Consulting
  • Management of Risk (M_o_R®) Consulting
  • P3O® Consulting.

Maturity Assessment

Registered Consultants have exclusive rights to assess organisations against the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3™) and the PRINCE2 Maturity Model. They can help your organisation benchmark your programme, project and risk management processes, and provide the support you require in order to drive further improvement. Find out more about Maturity Models here.
