Accreditation Application Details
The assessment process will not start until a completed application form and full payment has been received. On receipt applicant ATOs will be given a copy of APMG's MSP Quality Manual and access to the APMG-Network, an exclusive website for the ATO community.
APMG will assess organisations course material and administration and management procedures. You can either develop your own training material or licence material from another ATO.
The following management and administration processes are also assessed as part of ATO Accreditation:
- Organisation management structure
- Organisation quality control system including management review, internal audit, appeals and complaints procedures
- Course quality control system including delegate acceptance criteria - MSP
- Course enrolment system - MSP
- Pre-course documentation including joining instructions to pre-course reading material - MSP
- The system for organisation of the course venue including bookings, confirmation forms and procedures - MSP
- Names of proposed trainers (and CVs if applicable) - MSP
- Document control system
- Confidentiality waiver system - MSP
- Administration staff training and competence
Following a review of both submitted course material and documentation showing the administration and management procedures, an assessor visit will be organised. The assessor will visit to review these procedures and speak to the administrator(s) in charge and also assess a new MSP trainer, where applicable. The MSP trainer assessment will take place in two stages:-
- Observation of the applicant presenting a number of MSP training sessions to students, preferably as part of a normal training course. This will be matched to the ATO material for those sessions and the MSP syllabus.
- Conduct a private assessment of the applicant's understanding of MSP methodology and applicability, in particular of those areas not covered by the presentation sessions.
