M_o_R Accreditation Criteria

Definition

Organisation - This includes all legally accepted terms used to define a commercial entity, including self-employed people.
Approved Trainer - An individual who meets the criteria laid down in the accreditation process.

Eligibility of Organisation

  • Have run at least 3 courses in either Project Management, Programme Management or Risk Management within the previous 12 months from date of application.  For organisations who have been trading for less than 2 years, at least one director or senior employee must have run at least 3 courses within the previous 12 months
  • Undertake to have Approved Trainers present throughout the delivery of an M_o_R course.  Non-approved trainers can deliver part of all or a course working alongside an approved trainer
  • Have sufficient training material available to deliver the full syllabus of the M_o_R Practitioners course
  • Have at least one trainer meeting the eligibility criteria for approved status as described below.

Eligibility of Approved Trainers

To be eligible for certification as an Approved Trainer a trainer must be sponsored by an ATO and will need to demonstrate -

  • A minimum of 12 months (or two years if the trainer is part of a new ATO) experience in delivering training courses
  • Applicants can only have two attempts within a 12 month period to meet the above examination requirements
  • Either 2 years Project management experience or;
  • Delivered a minimum of 2 full Practitioner trainer courses under guidance from an existing Approved Trainer
  • Demonstrated knowledge of M_o_R by passing the M_o_R Practitioner Examination with a mark of not less than 66 out of 100.
