Terms And Conditions For M_o_R® Practitioner Exam

APMG-International will award Certification as a Registered Practitioner to candidates who:

  • Have successfully achieved sufficient marks to pass the Foundation Examination
  • Have successfully achieved sufficient marks to pass the Practitioner Examination
  • Agree to APMG-International terms of certification including surveillance monitoring.

Surveillance Monitoring

At a minimum of three, maximum of five, years after initial certification, Registered Practitioners are required to sit and pass the Re-registration Examination in order to retain certification. The Re-registration Examination is to a similar standard as the Practitioner Examination. The pass mark for the Re-registration examination is 20 marks out of 40.

Withdrawal of Certification

Failure to pass the Re-registration Examination after 5 years as a Registered Practitioner will result in withdrawal of certification.

Appeals

If the examinations are taken through an ATO

Extenuating circumstances during the examination, e.g. unacceptable noise outside the examination room can, if supported by the invigilator concerned, be cited as grounds for appeal against an adverse examination result.

In the absence of extenuating circumstances, an appeal against an examination result will only be considered if supported by the ATO who provided training in advance of the examination. The decision of the Examination Appeals Panel is final.

If the examinations are taken at a open centre

Extenuating circumstances during the examination, e.g. unacceptable noise outside the examination room can, if supported by the invigilator concerned, be cited as grounds for appeal against an adverse examination result.

In the absence of extenuating circumstances, an appeal against an examination result will only be considered if supported by APMG-International. The decision of the Examination Appeals Panel is final.

Complaints

APMG-International requires all Registered Practitioners to keep a record of complaints made against them within the scope of their certificate of competence. Such complaints are to be notified to APMG-International. The record of complaints will be subject to audit at the time of Re-registration Examination. Such complaints about a Registered Practitioner if received by APMG-International in the absence of notification by the Registered Practitioner concerned may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification.
